| To finish my study at
the Utrecht University I wrote the master thesis, which is entitled
'Creatief Burgerschap' (creative citizenship). The thesis is about
the way e-cultural institutions in the Netherlands can contribute
to the cultural and creative practices of users. Web 2.0 applications
like Flickr and YouTube enables users to create and share photo's,
movies and music. In this thesis I argue that these creative practices
are taking place in a networked cultural public sphere. This public
sphere offers space for the enactment of a new form of cultural
citizenship, which I call 'creative citizenship'.
